José Manuel Hernández García, CEO of Casa Tostadora Briones, held a working meeting in Istanbul with Galip İlter, Vice President of the Turkey–Latin America & Caribbean Business Council (DEİK), accompanied by members of his team.

During the meeting, both parties exchanged perspectives on the role of Mexican coffee in international markets, as well as on potential areas of collaboration between coffee sector stakeholders in Turkey and Latin America, with a focus on origin, quality, and the development of long-term relationships.

The conversation focused on exploring how coffee-producing regions in Mexico can connect with markets in the Middle East and surrounding regions, through a direct understanding of origin and gradual collaboration frameworks.

This meeting forms part of Casa Tostadora Briones’ regional engagement strategy, aimed at opening dialogue with key sector actors to evaluate potential commercial and institutional cooperation pathways for the positioning of Mexican coffee in the region.

Casa Tostadora Briones acknowledges the support of the Embassy of Mexico in Turkey and the Consulate of Mexico in Istanbul during this visit.
