On July 17th, 2025, Casa Tostadora Briones held a key meeting with the Ministry of Economy of the State of Chiapas, through the Directorate of Entrepreneurship and Competitiveness Development, the Directorate of Domestic and Foreign Trade, and the Department of Competitiveness Promotion.

The purpose of this meeting was to establish the foundations for a strategic collaboration to integrate Chiapas into the ongoing efforts to position Mexican coffee in the Middle Eastern market, thereby strengthening the global presence of Mexico’s coffee sector.

Together, both parties agreed to develop a joint agenda to design visibility, export, and trade linkage strategies that directly benefit coffee producers in Chiapas. This alliance marks a decisive step toward the internationalization of Chiapaneco coffee, alongside Casa Tostadora Briones, a pioneering company in opening export routes for Mexican coffee to key markets such as the United Arab Emirates and Kuwait.

“With this alliance, Chiapas coffee producers join forces with Casa Tostadora Briones to bring the best of Mexican coffee to new frontiers, reaffirming our commitment to local development and global recognition of origin-based coffee,” said José Manuel Hernández García, CEO of Casa Tostadora Briones.

This is the first of several meetings planned with the Government of Chiapas. Through this partnership, Casa Tostadora Briones continues to lead efforts in promoting Mexican coffee in the Middle East, now adding the tradition, excellence, and richness of Chiapas coffee to its international platform.
