Yerevan, Armenia — December 23, 2025
José Manuel Hernández García, CEO of Casa Tostadora Briones, held an institutional meeting with Nikolay Kostandyan, Honorary Consul of Mexico in Armenia, in a dialogue focused on cultural exchange, bilateral cooperation, and regional commercial understanding.
During the meeting, both parties discussed the cultural and historical relationship between Mexico and Armenia, as well as initiatives that have strengthened the friendship between the two countries. Among the topics addressed was Día de Muertos, a Mexican tradition that has been celebrated annually in Armenia, reflecting the growing cultural connection between both nations. The visit also included a tour of part of the cultural collection housed at the Consulate, where works by Mexican artists who have visited Armenia are exhibited.
From a business and export perspective, the conversation also covered Mexican products currently present in the Armenian market, international logistics dynamics, regional trade hubs, re-export processes, and access to strategic markets, including Russia.
This meeting forms part of Casa Tostadora Briones’ broader institutional agenda in the region, aimed at understanding the cultural, diplomatic, and commercial context in which relationships between Mexico and countries in the Caucasus and the Middle East are developed, reinforcing a comprehensive approach to international engagement.
